AHHS Dance Audition
February 17th in the
​AHHS Dance Studio

All students interested in dancing at Arlington Heights High School must come to the audition on February 17th at 4 pm in the AHHS dance studio. Please come dressed to move. There will also be an audition on April 21st. (Students who are already in a level in the AHHS Dance Department DO NOT need to audition). 

National Honor Society for Dance Arts

This past Monday Rebecca Clark, our NHSDA Dance Guild representative,  visited with all students about how to graduate with Dance Honors. Please check the student portal for more information or e-mail jamie_rebeccaclark@hotmail.com. 

Don't forget about your Department Fee

Don't forget to pay your department fee every month OR if you are paying per semester the second half of your fee is due at the beginning of March ($87.50). 

FWISD Dance Showcase 
Monday, February 27th 
7 pm AHHS Auditorium 

On Monday, February 27th the AHHS Dance Department will host the FWISD Dance Showcase. This event is free and will be a ton of fun! Level 4 AHHS dancers and the AHHS Repertory Dance Company will be performing along with dancers from other FWISD dance programs. 

Performance Requirements

In order to participate in Project Dance 2017 all dancers must be passing all of their classes by 3/29/2017. Please help the AHHS Dance Faculty help your dancers.

Ask your dancer about their Black History Month Project

In honor of Black History Month, all AHHS dancers are working with a partner to research individuals like Alvin Ailey, Lauren Anderson, Lester Horton etc. Please encourage your dancers to share with you the profound impact these individuals have had on dance.
