Dance A Thon was a HUGE SUCCESS!

The AHHS dance faculty is thrilled with the way Dance A Thon went this past Saturday. Not only did students have a fantastic time learning from 4 different teachers, they also raised nearly $6,000! Way to go Dancers! A big thank you to Jenise, Alex, Natalie and Helanious as well as all of wonderful Dance Guild Moms for making this event possible. 

2016 - 2017 Auditions for AHHS Dance Dept.

Auditions to be in the AHHS Dance Department were held this past Friday, Feb. 5th. Letters regarding what class your student will be placed in will be mailed home at the end of the year. If  you were unable to attend - Don't Worry! There will be another audition April 29th at 4:30 pm in the dance room. All incoming freshman and AHHS students that would like to be in dance need to mark this date on their calendar. For more information please e-mail: [email protected]

Project Dance 2016 - 2017

Project Dance is around the corner! This year the annual event will be held at Scott Theater on April 12th and 13th. The Dance Guild will be looking for parent volunteers so please be on the lookout for an upcoming e-mail. 

AHHS Repertory Dance Company
will be performing at the biannual
National High School Dance Festival

AHHS Repertory Dance Company will be leaving March 2nd for National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Out of nearly 200 entries, RDC had two pieces chosen to perform. These students have been working since August on these dances and are very excited to have the opportunity to perform them on a National stage. These students will also be taking classes and auditioning for college programs around the country. Please wish them the best of luck!
