AHHS Repertory Dance CompanyThe Arlington Heights High School (AHHS) Repertory Dance Company (RDC) is the resident performing company for the AHHS Dance Department. The company was created by Dance Program Director, Rachel Wade with intention of providing students who are seeking a career in dance an opportunity to perform and study with guest choreographers who are masters of their craft.
This year, RDC will be traveling to Madison, Wisconsin to represent AHHS’s Dance Department at Regional High School Dance Festival. While at the festival, students will have the opportunity to perform, participate in master classes and audition for summer workshops and college dance programs. For many of our students, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that often results in college acceptance and scholarships. The company will also be performing throughout the year at various concerts and festivals in the DFW Metroplex including The Youth Dance Festival, Collage Dance Festival, and Dallas Dance for the Planet. |
The Repertory Dance Company believes in the power of movement to create change and is dedicated to bringing the progressive work of various choreographers to Arlington Heights High School as well as the greater Fort Worth Area.
